Hi, I just want to ask how much do I have to pay the real estate agent who found this tenant for me. I was looking for articles and some says one month's rent and others say 2-3% commission rate if agent and 3-6% if it"s a broker. I'm not sure if this is fair but she's asking for one month's rent for the first year and another month's rent for the 2nd year and she asked to get the same for the renewal. Is this the going rate in the Philippines? Btw, I have a 2 bedroom condo unit in Serendra, BGC. Please help. I appreciate your input guys. Thanks.

PaquiboNoelen Hello, Its standard to give another 1 month commission to a broker or agent if the tenant renew another one year contract. But if the broker didnt exist anymore in signing another contract, No need to give commission to broker.

Is there any standard commission rate for commercial properties?

I was able to give a tenant to a building (will lease whole building).
3 yrs contract. Owner offered to give this commission: half month rent per year x 3 years.
no commission if tenant renews.

What are your thoughts? monthly lease rate is 600K

I think 3-6% commission take an agent and a broker and it also depends on the tenant.
