Taking back my equity

Hi everyone, I've been working as an OFW for about six years now. In 2016, I invested in a pre-selling house. After three years, I completed the equity payments, but unfortunately, my unit had not been built yet. Two years later, my unit was finally constructed, but the real estate company informed me that there was an issue with PAG IBIG regarding the property's measurements, delaying the loan process.

I've patiently waited for my house, but the real estate company continues to provide excuses for the delayed loan approval. At this point, I've decided to cut my losses and request a refund of the equity payments I've made. My question is, do you believe I am entitled to a refund considering the prolonged delay in handing over the house, even though the unit has been completed?

Please help me with this as I don’t want to go back home in the Philippines without a house.
