How much should I pay my agent for referring a buyer?

Hi i would like to ask if i need to pay the agent who referred a buyer for our land. Because the agent just introduce the buyer to us but all the legal action and paper works was done by me.

Am I liable to pay the agent ?
Is it “referral fee” ?

Hi, I'm sure the agent who referred the buyer for your land, didn't do so for free. He/She would expect for a commission fee. But this depends if the agent is a legal real estate service practitioner. I assume in this case that the agent who referred is a colorum broker, so in this case, a "referral fee" of 10% of the selling price would suffice. If you're feeling generous then you may increase it 🙂
