There's a difference of cost in purchasing a property. When you buy house and lot, you get to own your land, your own house, parking and can have a garden. However, maintainance and other costs are more expensive than buying a condo property in a prime location (Metro Manila). When you buy a condo property you'll just be paying minimal fees for association dues but you have the full service of the building employees plus you get to enjoy hotel-type amenities. Expenses in purchasing a property will depend on what kind you will buy. For Condominium Property, there would be additional expenses like dues, parking, etc. For House and Lot Property, annually you would pay up for the Real Property Tax of your land. Then all other expenses like Electricity, Water, Utilities etc are all in those bracket. I really think that the end goal here is that it would definitely have expenses in all aspects. You just have to prepare everything else in order to get the hang of it in owning a property.
